Casino Tycoon: Vegas Empire

Casino Tycoon: Vegas Empire, a casino builder tycoon game

Casino Tycoon: Vegas Empire is a casino management sim where you are the house, not the player. You buy a run-down casino, draw its floor, set the house edge on every game, hire the staff and watch simulated guests decide whether your place is worth their evening. Beat a property's targets and the next run-down casino on the Strip goes up for sale.

Simulation only: guests gamble with virtual money and you manage the business. No real-money gambling, no cash prizes. Rated 17+ on the App Store for simulated gambling.

What you do in Casino Tycoon

Buy a wreck

Your empire starts with three fixer-uppers: The Carpet Pit, Strip-Mall Palace and The Weeping Flamingo. Each lot has its own targets, such as a cash goal, a minimum number of working machines and, on bigger lots, a star rating. Hit them and the next property opens up. Floors you have already turned around keep earning while you work on the new one, and your research carries across the chain.

Draw the floor

Place slot machines, video poker, blackjack, roulette, baccarat, Let It Ride, a poker room, craps, the cashier cage, a bar and restrooms. Repair broken cabinets cheaply or scrap them for salvage. A game only counts as working if guests can actually reach it from the door, so aisles matter. Never wall off the door or the cage.

Set the hold

Every game family runs a house-rules package: loose or tight slot paytables, 3:2 or 6:5 blackjack, European or American roulette, and so on. Tighter rules earn more per hand, but guests notice. Tighten when the room is full, loosen when tourists start leaving. The last owner was greedy. You don't have to be.

Read the room

Tourists, grinders and whales arrive with different bankrolls and different patience. Mood bubbles show what they want: a drink, a restroom, a free seat, or a way out. Fix what is driving them away and keep the seats warm.

Run the night

Hire janitors, dealers, cocktail servers and security, and later specialists like pit bosses, slot attendants and cage cashiers. Dirt drives people out before the odds do. When the lights go down, the Books recap your revenue, wages and net.

Research, rivals and the Strip

Build an R&D office, hire a researcher and spend points on high-limit cabinets, progressive jackpots, the poker room, craps and a sportsbook. Further down the Strip you can add rooms like a VIP lounge, nightclub, show theater and an owner's suite. Rival houses chase the same crowd, so you can run marketing campaigns, take a bank loan and play the stock market once your floor can carry it.

Who it's for

If you liked classic PC management games where you lay out a floor and watch tiny people react to it, this is that loop built for a phone. It suits players who enjoy tycoon and builder games, people curious about how casinos actually make money, and anyone who wants the Vegas atmosphere without betting anything. Each session can be a quick check on the floor or a long rebuild of a new property.

Free, with optional extras

The game is free to download. After the tutorial you can watch a rewarded ad for a daily cash injection, buy a small, medium or high-roller cash float from the cage window, or remove ads. It works offline.
